Brent and Ellen Smedley are the husband-and-wife team behind Smedley Insurance Solutions, where faith, family, and serving others are at the heart of everything they do. After graduating from Brigham Young University in 2000, they moved to the Greater Sacramento where Brent was born and raised and where he earned his Eagle Scout Award. They have loved raising their six wonderful children here and currently live in Lincoln.  They love cheering their children on in sporting events, theater, and enjoying the outdoors.  They have also joined in on newest sports craze of Pickleball.  Brent has spent more than 25 years as a professional auctioneer and fundraising auctioneer, helping charitable organizations raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for meaningful causes throughout the community. Together, Brent and Ellen have built their lives around serving others with compassion, integrity, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference.

Inspired by helping their own parents navigate Medicare, Brent and Ellen founded Smedley Insurance Solutions to provide honest, personalized guidance to individuals and families. Since then, they have helped thousands of people confidently navigate Medicare, health insurance, life insurance, retirement planning, and 401(k) rollovers. As independent insurance brokers, they believe in educating first, listening carefully, treating every client like family, and Always doing what is right. Their mission is simple: to help people make informed decisions with confidence while building lifelong relationships based on trust, integrity, and exceptional personal service.
